Calling All UUCC Newcomers

Regular Visitors, New / Nearly New Members After Sunday Service on March 23, Rev. Andy Burnette and Jeff Haverly will be offering the quarterly Exploring Unitarian Universalism (UU) Session. During the course, participants will take a trip back to 16th Century Transylvanian and explore the origins and writings of Unitarians while also exploring Universalism in America throughout the 20th Century. We'll then bring you up to date through the joining of the two in the early 60s and discuss the evolution of our principles and what is most important to UUs today. We will particularly explore the birth and evolution of UUCC. We will also discuss what it means to be a member of UUCC Danville. Each participant will receive a Unitarian Universalist Pocket Guide and a number of brochures detailing various perspectives of what UUs believe. The session will be held in the Overflow Room. Please sign up on the sign up list in that room so we can be sure we have enough materials, < or contact Jeff Haverly at jshave229@comcast.net or Rev. Andy Burnett at uuccrev@comcast.net . See you there.
